Pied a Terre
The Plaza Private Residence
Cleaning the house is the last thing you want to do after a long & stressful day.
香港的Four Seasons Hotel、新加坡的The Fullerton Hotel,都是極佳的現代Pied a Terre別墅。

I love living in a house, partly due to the bad experience I had back in the condo days. After paying a high price buying a condo, there is still monthly fees and loads of rules restricting what you can and can't have in the patio, etc. At the same time there's not enough rules about annoying neighbors. The cat lady that lived above us,has 3 cats meowing randomly, like to crank her audio, and move furniture half way through the night.
WTF!? That's very rude of your neighbor. I thought people are a little bit more considerate in your part of the world?
And I agree that there are lots of hidden recurring fees involved in buying a condo. That's one of the reasons why I passed on some high profile properties in HK.
Buying properties in HK these days are just plain rip-off's. You paid for a lot of real estate that you cannot put furnitures in (70% efficiency is considered unacceptable in the 80's, OK in the late 90's, the norm in the early millenium and a blessing in 2010).
I quite like the idea of small flats (Pied a Terre) that could be used as holiday homes in big cities. That's if and when I make so much....haha
Agree - many of the new developments are overrated. The most ridiculous ones are those that have low efficiency rate AND ugly finishings.
